About James

 

James Baldwin is an internationally recognised graphite artist, specialising in beautifully rendered, high-quality aviation pieces.

He graduated from Cumbria College of Art with an honours degree in Fine Art and additionally obtains diplomas in Graphic Design and Illustration. 

James has exhibited extensively in the UK and New Zealand and has his work on permanent display in the RAF Club in London, the RAF Museum,  the San Diego Air & Space Museum and The Battle of Britain Memorial.

His extensive client list, which include military and civil aviation, and a considerable number of private commissions. Notable among these, are the RAF, RAAF, US National Guard, US Marine Corps, USAF and Victrix Models, for whom he created a series of box artworks.

He is currently working on a major commission for Jetstream Aviation Capital, who have commissioned him to produce a series of drawings of their sizeable portfolio of aircraft.

James strives to produce a constantly high quality whilst finding the most dynamic possible compositions.
